This is the first post of my blog! My teacher told us that any topic is okay this time. I considered what to blog for a while but came up with nothing. lol The class starts in an hour! So I just started blogging anyway. haha Actually this is the first time for me to blog in English. I mostly use English for facebook posts but they are not very long like blogs. Blogs should be long to some extend, right? I am not good at blogging even in Japanese. My way of blogging might be wrong or not interesting but excuse me!
This time I will introduce my favorite places in Handai (Osaka University). Since I'm in foreign studies department, I've never studied in Suita campus and am not very familiar with there. So I can talk about only Toyonaka campus and Minoh campus.
All freshman students and some students who are over sophmore grade study in Toyonaka campus. Most club activities are going on in this campus too. So it's kind of busy and loud. There are many cafeterias. "Kanshita"(Toshokanshita-Shokudo) is usually crowded. I recommend "Sora"! It's less crowded and you can eat Japanese food, Western food, Chinese food and dessert. There is a small bakery too. Above all, I like the view from the windows there! You can see a lot of green and students singing, praying, placticing some instruments etc..
Next, in Minoh campus there are only students of foreign studies department. It's less crowded than Toyonaka campus and students are mostly girls. The location is not good, to be honest. You can go to Minoh campus by school bus or monorail. Taking monorail is a little expensive, but the view is really nice because the monorail runs in very high place. My favorite place in Minoh campus is the library! If you are interested in foreign languages or culutures, you'll definitely love there. You can find any kinds of languages' dictionalies there. There are very rare and important documents too.
I hope you check out these places while you study in Handai :)
I like Sora too. I stop by there every time I go to Toyonaka campus The other day I found Mister Donut at the entrance of Sora! They say they are open twice a week Did you know that?
返信削除Hey, I'm asking international students,
Do you have Mister Donut in your country? I bet you do!
We usually call it ミスド in Japanese.
Do you have your own short name for Mister Donut?
Mister Donut in front of Sora?
削除How come I never saw it??
In Brazil I think I've never seen a Mister Donut o_õ
I have been only once to Minoh Campus, when I got into the wrong bus on the last semester.. On that occasion, I had to wait for 1 hour for the next shuttle bus. x_x
